Landscape Architect

Location: Miami, FL

About the Opportunity

A growing design practice in Miami is looking to add an experienced Landscape Architect to its team. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative environment working across a diverse range of landscape architecture and site design projects throughout South Florida and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have strong design and project management experience and be comfortable taking projects from concept through documentation and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and coordinate design concepts, site plans, planting plans, details, and construction documents.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, and other design professionals.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project coordination.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior landscape architects and designers.
• Support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 5+ years of professional landscape architecture experience , ideally with project management responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design, construction documentation, and project delivery.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office ; additional experience with SketchUp, Rhino, or other design software is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Florida licensure or the ability to obtain licensure is preferred.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently.
