Position Overview  

a21 is seeking a strategic, highly organized, and relationship-driven Brand Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution across a portfolio of live events and experiences. 

The Brand Manager serves as the primary client contact and internal marketing lead for assigned brands, owning the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive brand growth, audience engagement, ticket sales, and revenue. 

This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, client management, marketing execution, ticketing, and cross-functional leadership and requires someone who can confidently move between big-picture strategy and day-to-day execution. 

Key Responsibilities  

Brand Strategy & Client Leadership  

• Serve as the primary marketing contact and strategic partner for assigned clients and brands. 
• Develop integrated marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives, audience growth, ticket sales, and revenue goals. 
• Lead client meetings, presentations, approvals, and ongoing strategic communication. 
• Maintain brand consistency across creative, messaging, partnerships, digital marketing, and guest-facing touchpoints. 
• Identify opportunities, challenges, and strategic adjustments throughout the campaign lifecycle. 

Marketing & Campaign Management  

• Lead integrated campaigns across email, social, paid media, PR, partnerships, influencer/community marketing, and digital channels. 
• Own marketing calendars, project timelines, deliverables, and approval processes. 
• Coordinate across creative, digital, partnerships, PR, production, ticketing, and finance to ensure successful execution. 
• Review marketing and creative deliverables for accuracy, quality, and brand alignment. 
• Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within approved budgets. 

Ticketing & Revenue Performance  

• Partner with the ticketing team on pricing, ticket types, packages, promotions, event builds, and launch readiness. 
• Monitor ticket sales, revenue pacing, promotional performance, and audience trends against established goals. 
• Use performance data to identify opportunities and recommend adjustments to marketing and sales strategies. 
• Oversee complimentary and partner ticket allocations and support post-event reconciliation and reporting. 

Partnerships & Event Execution  

• Collaborate with partnership teams to ensure sponsor and partner marketing commitments are delivered accurately. 
• Serve as the brand and marketing lead on site for assigned events. 
• Coordinate marketing, content, media, influencer, sponsor, and guest-facing needs during event execution. 
• Ensure the on-site experience aligns with overall brand positioning and marketing objectives. 

Reporting & Optimization  

• Develop post-event recaps evaluating ticket sales, revenue, digital performance, audience engagement, sponsorship, media coverage, and other key KPIs. 
• Translate campaign performance into actionable insights and recommendations. 
• Present results and growth opportunities to clients and internal leadership. 
• Apply key learnings and best practices to future campaigns. 

Qualifications  

• 5+ years of experience in brand management, integrated marketing, event marketing, experiential marketing, account management, or a related field. 
• Proven experience managing client relationships and multiple brands or campaigns simultaneously. 
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing across digital, email, social, paid media, partnerships, and PR. 
• Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate marketing and sales performance into actionable strategy. 
• Experience working with cross-functional creative, production, digital, ticketing, partnerships, and finance teams. 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on-site at live events, including occasional evenings and weekends. 
• Experience with ticketing, CRM/email platforms, marketing automation, or revenue management is a plus.

• Success in this role means building strong client relationships while growing and protecting assigned event brands and delivering marketing programs that produce measurable business results. 
• The Brand Manager will be accountable for client satisfaction, brand growth and consistency, ticket sales and revenue performance, timely campaign execution, budget management, and actionable performance reporting.
