Location Highlights
Albany offers access to the Hudson River waterfront and Washington Park, with the New York State Capitol and Empire State Plaza located downtown. The city sits about 10 miles from Albany International Airport and about 45 miles from the southern Adirondacks, offering both air access and outdoor recreation. The Albany Pine Bush Preserve features rare inland pine barrens and more than 20 miles of trails, while the Palace Theatre and MVP Arena anchor entertainment in the city center.
